#13 Cal State Northridge Defeats Bucknell, 18-7

Northridge, Calif. – Cal State Northridge featured a balanced scoring attack as nine different players scored at least one goal in overwhelming Bucknell University, 18-7, in a non-league women's water polo game on Thursday afternoon at Matador Pool.

Marisa Young led the Matador attack with four goals while Molly Henehan added three goals. Four other players scored two goals; Mellisa Doll, Haley Gurriell, Jenny Jamison and Leah Janke.

Cal State Northridge, ranked 13th in the nation, dominated the game from start-to-finish. The Matadors scored five of the game's first six goals.   

Cal State Northridge raised its season record to 14-6. Bucknell falls to 3-10.

At 7:00 on Thursday night, Cal State Northridge hosts Occidental.
