NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The main portion of the 2012 Northridge Invitational scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 17 will go on as scheduled despite a threat of rain in the San Fernando Valley.
With over 900 participants scheduled to compete, the Invitational is scheduled to begin Saturday at 8 a.m. with the javelin throw. The first event scheduled for the track is the men's 3,000 steeplechase at 8:40 a.m.
According to head coach Avery Anderson, some events during the day may be delayed by weather but otherwise the meet will go on as scheduled rain or shine.
