NORTHRIDGE, Calif. ---
Fresh off the first Big West Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in school history, the Cal State Northridge women's soccer team has released its 2013 spring schedule. The Matadors will play over five weekends in February and March and host three Saturdays where they will compete at Matador Soccer Field.
Northidge opens the spring season with UCLA on Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. On Feb. 23, CSUN hosts San Diego (noon) and Cal State San Marcos (2 p.m.).. On Mar. 30, the Matadors will host USC (11 a.m.) and Biola (3 p.m.) before welcoming their alumni for a 7 p.m. match.
All CSUN women's soccer spring games at Matador Soccer Field are free and open to the public. There is no seating currently at the stadium so patrons must provide their own.
In addition to the home dates, CSUN will travel to UC Irvine to compete in the Big West Spring Tournament on Mar. 9. In Orange County, the Matadors will face Cal State Fullerton, San Diego State, UC Irvine and UC Riverside.
Finally, Northridge will travel to San Diego's campus on Mar. 23 for a pair of matches, one against the host Toreros and one against Arizona State.
