Christian Gonzalez Diaz finished his first season at Cal State Northridge as a true freshman in 2011. Gonzalez Diaz scored four goals and added two assists for 10 points in his inaugural campaign. He scored a goal in the season opener against Canisius, at then-No. 7 UCLA and twice against Cal State Fullerton, including the game winner on the final day of the year. Gonzalez Diaz recorded 22 shots, eight of which were on goal.

MISSION VIEJO HIGH SCHOOL

Gonzalez Diaz competed for the Mission Viejo Diablos, earning a letter and captaining the squad during his senior year. While at Mission Viejo, he was voted team MVP and named to the All-League First Team. He also played for United Futbol Club, captaining and starting for the team as well. He graduated from Mission Viejo High School in 2011.
