Jordan Johnson made his collegiate debut for the Matadors in the home opener vs. #22 UCLA and pitched 0.2 innings. He pitched 2.0 innings in the extra-inning victory over Northwestern (2/25 - Game 2) and struck out two batters. Johnson earned the start against San Diego (3/1) and struck out two batters in 4.0 innings and did not receive a decision.
FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL
Johnson helped his team to a record of 18-9 as a senior, earning 1st Team All-League, All-City and MVP honors in 2011. He spent time as a pitcher, catcher and infielder for head coach Michael Cody. Johnson graduated from Franklin in 2011.
