HEAD COACH AQUILES MONTOYA SAID
"A big thing for us that we talked about was over-communicating and our players just doing their job. Hawai'i brings a crowd wherever they go, and our crowd tonight was just incredible. We had some big moments, but no one played out of their mind. That was my favorite part about our team being resilient and adapting to some of the changes Hawai'i made. They're a little banged up, just like we are, and a lot of teams are at this point of the season, but we knew to be ready and adaptable."
UP NEXT
CSUN heads back out on the road next week, traveling to Cal State Fullerton on Thursday (Oct. 9) and UC Irvine on Saturday (Oct. 10).
