CSUN Hosts Marist, Concordia

Northridge, Calif. – Cal State Northridge returns to Matador Pool on Tuesday to face Marist College and Concordia (Irvine) in non-league women's water polo matches.

The Matadors will face Marist at 2:00 pm, and Concordia at 7:00 pm.

Marist, from Poughkeepsie, New York, is currently on a nine-game road trip to the West Coast. The Red Foxes are currently 4-2 on the road trip, but have lost their last two games to UC Santa Barbara (3/17/13, 5-12) and Cal State Bakersfield (3/17/13, 5-10).

Overall, Marist is 13-7.

Cal State Northridge and Concordia have met once this season with the Matadors recording a 15-7 decision at the Cal Baptist Invitational (2/2/13). Marisa Young led the Matadors with four goals while Jenny Jamison and Celena Photopulos each scored three goals.

Cal State Northridge is 17-8.

Lindsy Nelson leads the team with 58 goals. The 58 goals are tenth-best for a single season in school history. Marisa Young has collected 40 goals.

Kiernan Davis has 209 saves (eighth-best for a single season in CSUN history) including a career-high 18 saves last weekend in a 8-7 CSUN victory over 11th-ranked Indiana.
