IRVINE, Calif. - Cal State Northridge junior Ashlee Nagamine was named Big West Conference Women's Golfer of the Month for November after finishing first at the Lamkin Grip/Cal Poly Invitational on Nov. 3-4.
The win at Cal Poly was Nagamine's second straight tournament win after she won the Aztec Fall Classic in October. She posted a 75.4 scoring average in four fall tournaments in which the Matadors won three of four tournaments.
"Ashlee has worked very hard and extremely deserving of this honor," said Head Coach Bonnie Murphy. "It's long overdue for her."

UC Davis' Tyler Raber and Cal State Northridge's Ashlee Nagamine each won their respective tournaments to earn Big West Golfer of the Month for the month of November.
Raber won his first collegiate tournament with a four-shot win at the Stockton Sports Commission Pacific Invitational. Assisted by his second round score of 63 that tied a school record, the sophomore from El Macero, Calif., fired a 14-under-par 199 to set a new program low. Following his first round, Raber was tied for the lead and then paced the 60-person field after the next two rounds.
Nagamine won her second straight individual title after posting a two-round 142 at the Lamkin Grip/Cal Poly Invitational November 1-2. In the process, she set a new Cypress Ridge course record for women as well as a tournament record with a final-round 66 that included six birdies and no bogeys.
