Taylor Bowlin competed in 11 matches in his junior season. He finished the year with one goal and one assist for three points and had three shots in 2011, one of which was on goal. His goal against Missouri State (9/9) proved to be the game winner as the Matadors won 3-0.
Bowlin completed his first season at Cal State Northridge in 2010 as a defender. He played in 14 of 19 matches for the Matadors and took five shots, three of which were on-goal.
Bowlin competed in 17 games in 2009, starting on six occasions on the back-line for the UNLV Rebels. He finished with two points on two assists and three of his five shots were on-goal.
WEBER HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year starter for Weber High at defender, midfield and forward. His team was a state finalist his final three seasons, and won the region his senior year. Bowlin earned all-state first team honors in 2009, and honorable mention in 2008 and was a three-time all-area selection, two-time team offensive MVP and Varsity MVP honoree. He was named to the all-state tournament team in 2007 and led La Roca (club team) to two state championships during his time on the team (2004-09), and was team captain as well. Bowlin also was in the Utah ODP program between 2004-08, and team captain for the region IV team in 2008. He was a captain for the Real Salt Lake U-18 squad from 2006-08 and helped RSL to the MLS Cup championship, and a bid to the Youth World Cup in Madrid, Spain.
