Cal State Northridge will play its final home game of the 2010-11 regular season against UCSB (2/24/11, 7:05 p.m.) in a Big West Conference game at The Matadome ... CSUN will be shooting for its 700th victory in school history ... Thursday's game will also be the final home game for seniors Raymond Cody, Lenny Daniel, Dathan Lyles, Michael Lizarraga and Rashaun McLemore ... These five seniors will be honored immediately after the CSUN-UCSB game ... Collectively, Cody, Daniel, Lyles, Lizarraga and McLemore have played a total of 281 games, scored 1,947 points, grabbed 1,001 rebounds, dished out 294 assists, stolen 176 passes and blocked 113 shots.

Senior Salute
Seniors Raymond Cody, Lenny Daniel, Dathan Lyles, Michael Lizarraga and Rashaun McLemore have distinguished themselves on-and-off the court for Cal State Northridge ... Their Matador home careers will be ending with their final appearance at The Matadome on Thursday (2/24/11) against UC Santa Barbara ... Tipoff is 7:05 p.m. ... Cody has been a starter in 41 of 59 games the last two seasons ... His career-scoring best was an 18-point effort at UC Riverside (2/4/10) last year ... Lenny Daniel has collected 23 double-doubles (points-rebounds) in his two-year CSUN career (45 starts in 56 games) ... Daniel has 217 free throw attempts this year, only ten short of the long standing school record held by Ollie Carter during the 1964-65 season ... *** Lenny Daniel (6-8, 205, Senior, Forward, Richmond, Va) is #1 in the Big West field goal percentage (.589, #4 for a single season in school history), third in rebounding (9.5 rpg) and blocks (31, 1.15 bpg) and fifth in scoring (16.0 ppg) ... Daniel has grabbed ten or more rebounds in 16 games, including a career-high 15 boards at Air Force (12/2/109).

*** Lenny Daniel (6-8, 205, Senior, Forward, Richmond, Va) has moved to the top of the scoring charts for Cal State Northridge ... After scoring only two points and shooting 0-for-12 from the floor in the first two games of the year, Daniel upped his season average from 1.0 ppg in the first two games to 16.0 ppg (#5 in the BWC).

The 31 points scored by Daniel against DePaul were the most points scored by any player in the 76 Classic, and the third-best scoring effort in the four-year history of the tournament ...
