NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -
The Cal State Northridge Baseball program is holding open tryouts for the 2014 season on Friday, Sept. 6, the coaching staff announced Monday. Tryouts will take place beginning at 2p.m. at Matador Field on campus.
Interested players must be full-time students at Cal State Northridge and enrolled in the required course load for the fall 2013 semester. It is required that a student's class schedule be able to accommodate baseball practices, which run from 1 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In order to be permitted to try out for the team students must fill out and submit all required medical paperwork, which is linked to below. In addition, those wishing to try out must email the coaching staff and come to the walk-on meeting on August 26th at 1:30 p.m. There will be paperwork distributed as well that must be signed and turned in to the athletic training room in Redwood Hall prior to September 6th. No exceptions will be made for incomplete paperwork.
