Matador Baseball Showcase Camp Set for January 20, 2013

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. –

The Cal State Northridge Matadors baseball program will hold its annual Winter Showcase Camp on January 20, 2013, head coach Matt Curtis announced Tuesday. The camp, open to all high school and junior college players, allows the coaching staff to provide instruction and evaluate talent in a single-day event at Matador Field.

Camp participants will have the opportunity to showcase their skills through position-specific drills and games. The Winter Showcase Camp will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with registration and check-in beginning at 9 a.m.

Tuition for the camp is $100 per participant and includes a Matador Baseball T-shirt. Lunch will not be provided during the camp.

Parents and family members are welcome to attend the event as well. Daily parking passes are required and can be purchased for $6 in Lot E6, located at the corner of Halsted and Lindley Avenues, near Matador Field.
