After winning back-to-back title on the women's end and two of the past three championships on the men's side, Cal State Northridge is the coaches favorite to claim both of the 2008 Big West Track & Field Championships. The Matador women were a near unanimous selection with seven of the eight first place votes on the way to 63 of 64 possible points, while the men's contingent outlasted Long Beach State for the top spot in a tight race.

Northridge will be hosting the Big West Track & Field Championships and the NCAA Western Regionals at the Matador Track & Field Complex.

Daily parking on campus is $5/vehicle.

The venue entrance is located on the East side of the Practice Soccer Field.

Daily parking permits may be purchased from a parking permit dispenser or from one of the Attendant Booths.

• Information Booth #1 located on Lindley Street off Nordhoff
• Information Booth #2, located on Prairie Street off Darby
• Information Booth #3, located off Zelzah in the Northeast Corner of Lot G4.

Yellow permit dispensers are located in each parking lot.

Ample parking will be located in parking Lot F10 at Lindley and Lassen Streets.

Alternative parking is available in the following campus parking lots:

• G4 at Zelzah Ave, in between Plummer and Prairie Streets.
• E6 at Halsted Street, in between Lindley and Etiwanda Streets

There will be NO PARKING AVAILABLE in the Dorm parking lots
