Allison Brookes Named MPSF Honorable Mention Selection

Woodland Calif. - For the second straight year, Cal State Northridge water polo player Allison Brookes has been honored by the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) coaches with Honorable Mention accolades.

During the 2008 season, Brookes tallied a team-leading 49 goals, the tenth-best single season total in school history. In 14 games, Brookes produced two or more goals. Brookes collected a season-high four goals against Michigan and California.

Brookes ended her four seasons (2005-08) at Cal State Northridge as the all-time leading scorer (222 goals). In three of her four seasons at CSUN, Brookes finished in the Top 10 in single season scoring. Brookes tallied 72 goals in 2006 (#2, single season), 62 goals in 2007 ($3, single season) and 49 goals in 2008 (#10, single season). Brookes' 39 goals in 2005 were eleventh-best for a single season in school history.
