#13 Cal State Northridge Falls To #5 Hawaii at UC Irvine Invitational

Irvine, Ca. - Fifth-ranked Hawaii overpowered #13 Cal State Northridge with five third period goals to eventually beat the Matadors, 11-6, during first round play on Saturday afternoon at the UC Irvine Invitational.
Heidi Pettinger led Cal State Northridge with three goals.
Cal State Northridge continues play at 5:45 p.m. against #15 UC Santa Barbara. The Gauchos lost their first round match to fourth-ranked California, 10-6, earlier today.
The CSUN-UCSB game will be played at Corona Del Mar High School.
