#13 Cal State Northridge Falls to Long Beach State, 10-7

La Jolla, Ca. - Cal State Northridge, ranked 13th in the nation, dropped a 10-7 decision to unranked Long Beach State, 10-7, during Sunday morning play at the Triton Invitational at UC San Diego.
The Matadors held a 4-3 at halftime, but the 49ers exploded for five third-period goals compared to one for CSUN.
Melissa Doll led the Matador attack with two goals.
Cal State Northridge (5-5), will face Hartwick College in the seventh place game at 1:50 pm.
