Angela Hupp appeared in all 30 matches and 113 sets as a junior ... earned First Team All-Big West honors for the first time in her career ... led the Matadors in kills (323), kills per set (2.86) and total attacks (897) and was second in aces (21) digs (248) and blocks (86.0) ... also led the team with eight double-doubles and now has 25 double-doubles in her Northridge career ... had 10 or more kills in 15 matches and led the Matadors in kills 14 times ... heads into her senior season ranked ninth in Matador history in assists (1,303) and is 10th in total attacks (2,291) ... is just out of the career top-10 in both sets played (314) and kills (800) ... pounded a career-high and Northridge season-high 27 kills against UC Riverside (Oct. 31) while taking a career-high 55 swings ... tied for the team season-high in blocks with nine assists in the season-ending, five-set upset of No. 23 Long Beach State (Nov. 21) ... had 18 kills, eight digs and eight blocks in Northridge's 3-2 win over San Jose State (Sept. 6) ... earned All-Tournament honors at three of the four tournaments the Matadors competed in (Bronco Invitational, Sacramento State Invitational, ASU Sheraton Invitational) ... had 16 kills and a season-high 18 digs at Cal State Fullerton (Nov. 8) ... had double figures in kills in six of the final seven matches of the season and the Matadors finished 3-4 over that time.
Hupp appeared in 27 matches and 101 games as a sophomore ... started 26 matches ... earned honorable mention All-Big West honors ... finished second on the team in assists (566) and was third in kills (241) and kills per game (2.39) ... also added 13 aces, 221 digs and 93 blocks ... ranked 10th in the Big West in assists per game at 5.60 ... led the conference with five triple-doubles (kills-assists-digs) which gives her 10 in her two-year Matador career ... also led the Matadors with nine double-doubles ... had double figures in kills 11 times, including a season-high 16 kills in the season finale against Idaho (Nov. 24) ... posted double figure dig totals in nine matches and had double figures in assists in 25 of the 27 matches in which she appeared ... matched her career-high with three service aces in Northridge's 3-0 win over Fairfield (Nov. 23) and established a new career-high with nine blocks against UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 20) ... narrowly missed a rare quadruple-double against the Gauchos as she recorded 10 kills, 27 assists, 12 digs and nine total blocks.
Had a solid freshman season that saw her appear in all 28 matches and 100 games ... was named Big West Freshman of the Year becoming the first Matador since Laura Walter in 1998 (Big Sky) to be honored as the conference's top freshman ... was also named to the seven member Big West All-Freshman Team ... finished third on the team with 236 kills and posted a team-high 609 assists which ranked ninth in the Big West ... also finished with 234 digs which ranked fifth on the squad and served 28 aces which was also fifth ... wound up as the team leader with five triple-doubles while also adding six double-doubles ... posted a triple-double with 12 kills, 18 assists and 11 digs in her collegiate debut at San Diego State (Aug. 25) ... pounded a career-high 22 kills against Long Beach State (Nov. 16) and posted a career-high 20 digs in the season-finale at Loyola Marymount (Nov. 21).
Was a four-year starter at setter/middle blocker at Paraclete High School in Lancaster, Calif. ... as a senior, averaged 14 kills, 19 digs, 10 assists, three aces and five blocks for the Spirits who finished 16-2 ... was named Best Offensive and Best Defensive Player in 2005 and earned All-CIF accolades in 2004 ... was named Alpha League MVP, earned First Team all-league honors and was named Best All-Around Player in 2002 and 2003 ... Paraclete finished 55-14 over her four years ... was the Daily News Player of the Year and a member of the All-Antelope Valley Team in 2005 ... graduated in 2006 with a 3.5 grade point average.
