Zainos spent one season (2009-10) at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, Calif. ... competed in both track and cross country for the Lions ... ran the 10,000 meters, 3,000 meters and 400 meters on the track and the 6k for the cross country squad ... top time in the 6k was 24:08.
