NORTHRIDGE - 2008 Tara Prier had a solid freshman campaign that saw her reach the Big West Outdoor Championships in both the 200 and 400 meters ... finished third in the 400 in a season-best 54.61 and was sixth in the 200 (24.41) ... her 400 meter time ranks ninth in Matador history and second on the all-time freshman list ... clocked a season-best 24.13 in the 200 prelims at the Big West which ranks fourth among Northridge freshmen ... advanced to the NCAA West Regional in the 400 meters where she finished ninth in qualifying (54.93) and did not reach the final ... was part of both the Big West Champion 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams ... posted a season-best 11.96 in the 100 meters at the Tiny Lister Classic ... finished ninth in the 200 meters in a time of 24.82 at the MPSF Indoor Championships ... posted indoor season-bests of 24.75 in the 200 and 55.60 in the 400 ... her 400 time ranks fifth in Northridge indoor history.
