Lex competed in track, volleyball and basketball at Covenant Christian Academy in Colleyville, Texas ... earned All-State honors as a sprinter every season from 2007-2010 ... qualified for the state championship four times ... ran the 200 meters as well as the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays ... also earned All-State honors as a setter for the Cougars volleyball team ... graduated in 2010 with a 4.08 grade point average.
