Alisa Jenkins finished fifth in the heptathlon at the Big West
Championships ... scored a season-best 4,931 points in helping the
CSUN women to the team championship ... had season-bests of
5-0.50 (1.54) in the high jump and 17-8.25 (5.39) in the long
jump during the heptathlon ... also finished seventh in the 100
meter hurdles (14.23) ... clocked a season-best of 14.21 in
the 100 hurdles to place third at the Tiny Lister Classic ... also
placed fifth in the javelin (123-2) at the conference
championships ... finished ninth in the pentathlon at the MPSF
Indoor Championships after scoring an indoor-best 3,364 points ...
her total is the fifth-best in CSUN indoor history.
SACRAMENTO CITY COLLEGE
Jenkins competed as a heptathlete for two seasons at Sacramento
City College in Sacramento, Calif. ... was the Big 8 and NorCal
champion in the heptathlon and was part of the state champion 4x100
relay squad in 2009 ... earned All-America honors in the 100
hurdles and 4x100 relay in 2010 ... earned her associate of arts
degree in 2010.
MESA VERDE HIGH SCHOOL
Was a three sport standout in track & field, volleyball and
basketball at Mesa Verde High School in Citrus Heights, Calif. ...
earned track MVP honors in 2005 and 2008 and basketball MVP
accolades in 2006 and 2008 ... earned all-league honors for the
Mavericks track team all four seasons (2005-08) ... her track &
field team won league championships in 2005, 2007 and 2008 ...
graduated in 2008.
