Cox was a member of the Matador 4x400 relay team that advanced to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore. ... ran the opening leg of the relay that ran 3:42.56 but did not reach the final ... qualified for the 800 meters at the NCAA West Region Championships where she finished 44th in the prelims in a time of 2:19.91 ... the Northridge 4x400 relay ran a season-best 3:37.29 to claim the 12th and final qualifying spot for the NCAA Championships ... ran 2:15.05 in the prelims of the 800 at the Big West Championships and did not reach the final ... shattered her previous career-best after clocking a time of 2:09.58 to finish third in the 800 at the Steve Scott Invitational (May 2) ... ran a 400 meter season-best of 55.49 at the Mt. SAC Relays (Apr, 17) ... ran an indoor career-best 2:12.53 in the 800 finals at the MPSF Indoor Championships ... ran the anchor leg of the 4x400 relay team that finished seventh in a season-best 3:46.78 ... earned MPSF All-Academic honors following the indoor season.

2009
Was part of Northridge's NCAA West Regional 4x400 relay team ... reached the 400 meter final at the Big West Championships as a freshman ... ran 55.56 in the prelims before posting a time of 56.21 in the final to take fifth-place ... also ran the third leg of the Big West champion 4x400 meter relay team that ran 3:40.43 ... ran a season-best 55.31 in the 400 at the Cal-Nevada Championships at UCLA (Mar. 29) which ranks seventh on the Northridge freshman career list ... clocked a Northirdge season-best time of 2:14.17 in the 800 meters at the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational at UCLA (Apr. 10) ... ran an indoor season-best 56.00 in the 400 meters to finish fourth at the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash. (Feb. 14).

DEER VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
Competed in track, basketball and cross country at Deer Valley High School in Antioch, Calif. ... earned Bay Valley Athletic League honors in track all four years (2004-08) ... was a First Team selection from 2006-08 ... was named team captain as a senior in 2008 ... track team won four consecutive BVAL and NCS titles ... won the Golden Shoe award for the Wolverines cross country team in 2007 ... also earned MVP and outstanding defense honors for the basketball squad in 2007 ... graduated in 2008.
