Le'Shel Vines advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary Round (May 23-25) for the second consecutive season, this time in the 100 and 200 as well as the 4x100 relay ... finished 30th (11.68) in the 100 meter prelims and 36th (24.42) in the 200 meter prelims but did not advance ... the 4x100 relay finshed 17th, just out of the top-12 which advanced to the next round ... finished as runner-up in the 100 meters at the Big West Championships (May 10-11) after clocking a lifetime-best 11.56 in the final ... her time moved her into eighth on the CSUN all-time list ... clocked a personal-best 23.91 (ninth in CSUN history) in the 200 meter prelims before finishing seventh in the final at 24.28 ... ran the opening leg of the conference champion 4x100 relay that clocked a season-best and second-best time in CSUN history of 44.43 in the final ... was one of five Matador women named to the Big West All-Academic Team. INDOOR SEASON: finished seventh in a time of 7.63 in the 60 meters at the MPSF Championships (Feb. 22-23) ... ran an indoor lifetime-best 7.51 in the prelims which ranks third in CSUN indoor history ... placed 13th in the 200 meters in a personal-best 24.79. 

Vines finished fifth in the 100 meters at her first Big West Conference Championships (May 12) ... ran a season-best 12.00 in the final after running 12.05 in the prelims ... clocked a season-best 24.86 in the 200 meters at the Cal State LA Twilight Open (Apr. 19) ... ran the second leg of the CSUN 4x100 relay that placed second at the conference championships in a season-best time of 46.04 ... was one of the sprinters in CSUN's 4x400 pool that advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary Round but did not compete ... INDOOR SEASON: ran an indoor season-best 7.69 in the 60 meter prelims at the MPSF Indoor Championships (Feb. 25) ... posted a season-best of 25.66 in the 200 meters twice during the indoor season; at the MPSF Indoor Championships and at the Boise State Team Challenge (Feb. 11).

Redshirted both the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Matadors as a true freshman.
