Sydney Hubbard finished sixth in the shot put at the Big West Championships (May 12) ... best mark in the championships was 42-6.75 (12.97) ... season and career-best of 44-5.25 (13.54) came at the Cal State LA Twilight Open (Apr. 19) where she finished in third place ... also had outdoor season-bests of 127-2 (38.77) in the discus and 138-2 (42.12) in the hammer ... had CSUN's top shot put of the indoor season after posting a mark of 41-8.50 (12.71) at the Great Dane Classic in New York (Jan. 20) ... finished 19th at the MPSF Indoor Championships with a top throw of 38-10.25 (11.84).

2011
Hubbard earned a berth in the Big West Championships in the shot put ... finished sixth in the finals with a top throw of 42-7 (12.98) ... her throw is her season-best and ranked second among Matador throwers ... also posted season-bests of 120-0 (36.57) in the discus and 117-11 (35.94) in the hammer ... did not compete during the indoor season.

NOTRE DAME HIGH SCHOOL
Competed in track & field and basketball at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Calif. ... was the Mission League champion in both the shot put and discus in 2010 ... threw bests of 40-0 in the shot put and 125-0 in the discus ... earned first team All-Mission League honors as a guard/forward for the Knights basketball team who won CIF Southern Section in 2009 ... graduated in 2010 with a 3.0 grade point average.
