NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The Cal State Northridge women's tennis team will have to wait at least until Saturday to begin its season as Tuesday's match at Cal State Fullerton has been postponed due to rain in the area. A make-up date for the Titans and Matadors has been set for Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. on the campus of Cal State Fullerton.
The Matadors' first scheduled match of the season, a Feb. 6 date with UC San Diego, was also cancelled due to rain. The Matadors will now meet the Tritons on April 24 at The Matador Tennis Complex.
Northridge will now hope to get its first action of the season in on Saturday, Feb. 13 at Cal State Bakersfield. First serve between the Matadors and Roadrunners is scheduled for noon.
CSUN's first home match is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 14, when it hosts Cal State Stanislaus at 11 a.m. The Matadors' first conference match is on Saturday Feb. 20 against Cal Poly at Matador Tennis Complex scheduled for 11 a.m.
