Pistalu took home an All-Big West Singles Second Team award while the doubles team of Man-Son-Hing and Yang earned All-Big West Doubles First Team and the team of Pistalu and Cheung received Honorable Mention honors.

The 66th-ranked Matadors swept the doubles point and then picked up four straight-set victories in singles competition as they evened their season record.

Sabrina Man-Son-Hing and Anna Yang continued their solid play for the Matadors in south Florida, earning victories in both singles and doubles over the rival Gauchos.
January 28, 2012 No. 13 Miami Defeats CSUN 7-0 in Season Opener The Cal State Northridge women's tennis team (0-1) lost 7-0 to No. 13 Miami Saturday morning in Coral Gables, Fla., as part of the ITA Kickoff Weekend. Against the nationally ranked Hurricanes, the Matadors' Jennifer Sher, Anna Yang and Lorraine Cheung all pushed their respective singles matches to a decisive third set before ultimately falling.
