Hinger had an impressive first season that saw her named first team All-Big West as well as conference Freshman of the Year ... appeared in all 29 matches and 102 of 104 sets as a true freshman ... finished second on the Matadors with 257 kills and was third averaging 2.52 kills per set ... finished the season ranked ninth in the Big West in hitting at .286 which was tops among Northridge hitters ... also ranked fourth in the conference after recording a team-high 117 total blocks which included a team-high nine solo stuffs ... also added 18 aces, good for fourth-best on the team, to go with 72 digs ... hit a Matador season-high .750 with 12 kills in 16 errorless attacks in a 3-0 win against UC Davis (Nov. 4) ... was named Big West Player of the Week on Nov. 7 ... notched a CSUN season-high nine blocks (two solo) at UC Irvine (Nov. 11) ... had a season-high 15 kills on two occasions; at UNLV (Sept. 10) and against Long Beach State (Sept. 30) ... served a season-high three aces against both Southern Utah (Sept. 10) and UC Riverside (Oct. 22).
