NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -
The Cal State Northridge Softball program is holding open tryouts for the 2014 season on Friday, Sept. 6, the coaching staff announced Tuesday. Tryouts will take place beginning at 11 a.m. at Matador Diamond on campus.
Interested players must be full-time students at Cal State Northridge and enrolled in the required course load for the fall 2013 semester. It is required that a student's class schedule be able to accomodate softball practices, which run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In order to be permitted to try out for the team students must fill out and submit all required medical paperwork, which is linked to below. In addition, those wishing to try out must visit the softball coaches offices in Matador Hall to pick up athletic compliance forms. All paperwork must be signed and turned in to the athletic training room in Redwood Hall prior to September 6th. No exceptions will be made for incomplete paperwork.
