Lucero appeared in 51 games and made 45 starts in her second and final season at CSUN … batted .196 for the season with 18 hits … added 14 runs, three doubles, one home run, five RBIs and five stolen bases … also contributed 10 sacrifice bunts, the second-most on the team and among the top 10 in the Big West … had a career-high two hits in three different games … scored a career-high two runs in two games … cranked her first career home run in a victory over Cal Poly … finished the season with three multi-hit games … sported a sterling .971 fielding percentage in 175 chances, mostly at third base.

Lucero did an good job at shortstop in the field and had a productive conference season at the plate … batted .146 for the season with four runs, 12 hits, one double, four RBIs and two sac hits … against Big West opponents, Lucero batted .225 with nine hits, three runs, a double and an RBI … had a season-high two RBIs against Utah State … posted a .958 fielding percentage for the season, finishing with 110 assists, the fourth-most in the Big West Conference.
