Geckle made five appearances for the Matadors in 2009, making two starts ... made first career appearance in CSUN's 3-1 victory at San Diego State on Aug. 23 ... made first career start at New Mexico on Sept. 11 ... finished with one shot on the season, taken against Cal State Bakersfield on Oct. 23.
