Fernandez appeared in 17 matches and made 14 starts in her junior season … earned All-Big West Second Team honors after finishing with four goals, four assists and 12 points on the season … also had a game-wining goal and a team-high 53 shots on the year … scored goals against Texas, LMU (the game winner), UC Davis and UC Riverside … posted assists against Purdue, Princeton, LMU and Cal State Fullerton … ended season with five career goals, 10 career assists and 20 career points. 


Fernandez appeared in all 21 matches during her sophomore season ... earned All-Big West Honorable Mention honors after finishing with one goal, a team-high five assists and seven points ... scored first career goal, the game-winning strike, in Matadors' 2-1 victory over UC Davis on Oct. 1 ... assisted on both goals in Matadors' 2-0 victory over Cal State Fullerton on Oct. 28 ... also had an assist against Seattle, at Long Beach State in Big West Tournament and against Saint Joseph's ... five assists ties her with nine other Matadors for seventh-most assists in a single season ... finished year with 33 shots, putting 15 on-goal.


Fernandez appeared in 12 matches in 2009, making eight starts ... picked up first career assist in Matadors' 1-0, overtime win at UC Davis on Oct. 11 ... finished year with 18 shots, putting six on-goal ... had a season-high four shots vs. Cal Poly on Oct. 2.


Fernandez was a four-year letterwinner for the Highlanders ... received all-city honors three times and was a part of two city finalist teams ... played club ball with Real SoCal ... graduated in 2009.
