The Cal State.Northridge women's soccer team (7-9-2) defeated CSU Bakersfield, 3-0, Sunday evening in a non-conference match at Matador Soccer Field. Marisa Miller, Haley Chee and Jessa Yukihiro scored for the Matadors and Haley Hawes made four saves as the Matadors won on senior day.

The Cal State Northridge women’s soccer team (6-8-2, 4-2-1 Big West) close out the 2011 regular season with a pair of matches this weekend. On Thursday, Oct. 27, the Matadors venture to the Inland Empire to face UC Riverside in their league regular season finale. Three days later, the team will honor its four senior student-athletes before a non-conference contest against CSU Bakersfield.

Against the 49ers, Jacobo made three saves as the Matadors' earned a crucial three points in the conference standings.

The Cal State Northridge women’s soccer team (1-4) ventures over 2,100 miles for its next two matches as it heads to West Lafayette, Ind., to compete in the Boilermaker Challenge on the campus of the Big 10 Conference’s Purdue.
