October 27, 2011 Northridge Falls 3-1 at UC Riverside The Cal State Northridge women's soccer team (6-9-2, 4-3-1 Big West) lost 3-1 at UC Riverside Thursday night in its final Big West Conference match of the year. An early Matador goal did not stand up and now Northridge must await the weekend's results to see whether or not theywill participate in next week's Big West Tournament.
October 25, 2011 Final Weekend Sends CSUN to UC Riverside before Hosting CSU Bakersfield on Senior Day The Cal State Northridge women’s soccer team (6-8-2, 4-2-1 Big West) close out the 2011 regular season with a pair of matches this weekend. On Thursday, Oct. 27, the Matadors venture to the Inland Empire to face UC Riverside in their league regular season finale. Three days later, the team will honor its four senior student-athletes before a non-conference contest against CSU Bakersfield.

Senior Heidi Farran scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season and the Matadors got some outstanding defense as they won their fourth-straight over the Titans.
October 19, 2011 Northridge Splits Week Between Road Contest at Fullerton, Home against No. 21 UC Irvine The Cal State Northridge women’s soccer team (5-7-2, 3-1-1 Big West) splits its upcoming week with a match on the road at Cal State Fullerton on Oct. 20 at 6 p.m. before a home contest against No. 21 UC Irvine on Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. With three games remaining on the league schedule, the Matadors hope to keep pace with their league rivals to earn a berth in the Big West Tournament.
