McKniff was one of just two Matador players to appear in all 30 matches ... played in 108 of Northridge's 109 games while starting 30 matches at middle blocker ... named honorable mention All-MPSF ... finished fourth on the team in kills with 247 and was also fourth in kills per set at 2.29 ... fnished third in hitting at .409 after committing just 63 hitting errors in 450 total attacks ... ranked sixth in the MPSF in hitting percentage and 14th nationally ... as a team, the Matadors finished second in the nation with a .323 team hitting percentage ... also contributed 31 service aces which tied Mike Gaudino for third-best on the squad ... eclipsed his previous career-high with 18 kills and a .708 hitting percentage in a 3-1 win at UC San Diego (Mar. 1) ... knocked down 16 kills while hitting .609 to go with six blocks in a four-set win at No. 11 USC (Jan. 9) ... posted a Northridge season-high and personal career-high 10 blocks (all assisted) in the season opener against No. 13 Stanford (Jan. 4) ... matched his career-high with three aces at No. 11 USC (Jan. 9) and at Lewis (Feb. 16) ... was one of five Northridge players named to the 2008 MPSF Academic All-Conference Team.
