Marty Lorenz appeared in 27 games over 10 matches as a redshirt freshman in 2011 ... finished the season with 42 kills (1.56 kpg) while hitting .350 in 80 attacks as a middle blocker ... also notched five aces (0.19 sapg) and 25 blocks (0.93 bpg) ... had a season-high eight kills in two of the first three matches of the season ... hit .583 with eight kills in the season-opener against No. 10 UC Santa Barbara (Jan. 7) and also had eight kills (.400) against No. 2 UC Irvine (Jan. 8) ... posted a season-high seven blocks to go with four kills against No. 12 Loyola-Chicago (Mar. 9).
