NORTHRIDGE - 2011
Jonathan Talkington posted a season-best 5,480 points in the decathlon at the Northridge Invitational ... had season-bests in the high jump (6-6), long jump (20-1), 100 meters (11.85) and 110 meter hurdles (16.00) during the CSUN meet ... threw a season-best 149-4 in the javelin to finish 16th at the Cal-Nevada Championships ... competed in five of the seven events in the heptathlon at the MPSF Indoor Championships but did not finish the competition ... scored a season-best 4,128 points at the UW Invitational.

2010
Talkington redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.

2009
Finished 12th in the decathlon at the Big West Championships ... scored a season-best 5,776 points which included a meet-best 813 points in the high jump where he cleared a season-best 6-7 (2.01) ... finished eighth in the high jump with a best of 6-6.25 (1.99) during the championship meet ... had season-bests of 15.80 in the 110 meter hurdles, 20-8 in the long jump and 151-2 (46.08) in the javelin during the outdoor season ... did not compete during the indoor season.

SOUTH GRAND PRAIRIE HIGH SCHOOL
Competed in track, basketball and football at South Grand Prairie High School in Grand Prairie, Texas ... was named MVP of the Warriors track & field team in 2006, 2007 and 2008 ... the team was three-time district track championships from 2006-08 and also won the region and state titles in 2008 ... also won district basketball championships in 2007 and 2008 ... graduated in 2008 with a 3.7 grade point average.
