NORTHRIDGE - 2011
Eugene Sanchez posted season-bests of 22.52 in the 200 meters and 50.05 in the 400 meters at the USC Trojan Quad Meet ... tied for fifth in the 200 and was ninth in the 400 ... ran a season-best of 2:02.07 in the 800 meters at the Aztec Invitational to place 13th ... did not compete during the indoor season.

2010
Sanchez redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Matadors in 2010.

2009
Ran a career-best 49.29 in the 400 meters at the outdoor season-opening Northridge Invitational (Mar. 14) ... also ran a season-best 11.24 in the 100 meters at the same meet ... qualified for the 200 meters at the MPSF Indoor Championships where he ran a season-best 22.67 in the preliminary round and did not advance to the final ... ran the third leg of the 4x400 relay that finished eighth in a season-best time of 3:17.64.

2008
Qualified for the 400 meters at the Big West Outdoor Championships ... finished 12th in the prelims in a lifetime-best 49.76 ... ran the opening leg of the 4x400 meter relay that finished sixth ... also ran the 100 and 200 meters during the outdoor season posting a season-best of 11.18 in the 100 and 22.17 in the 200 ... ran an indoor season-best 50.02 in the 400 meters at the Husky Classic to finish 30th.

MONROE HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in both cross country and track at James Monroe High School in North Hills,, Calif. ... was named track & field MVP as well as Male Athlete of the Year in 2007 ... took first place in the Mid Valley League the 200 and 400 meters as well as the 4x100 and 4x400 relays ... in addition to track & field championships all four years (2004-07), the Vikings also won the league cross country title from 2004-07 ... graduated in 2007 with a 3.20 grade point average.
