NORTHRIDGE - 2011
Cameron McAteer finished a Northridge-best 11th in the hammer at the Big West Conference Championships ... posted a best of 161-1 (49.09) on his opening throw of the competition ... season-best of 172-0 (52.44) came at the USC Trojan Quad Meet where he finished in second-place ... also had season-bests of 44-8.25 (13.62) in the shot put and 134-6 (41.01) in the discus during the outdoor season ... finished ninth in the weight throw at the MPSF Indoor Championships ... tossed an indoor season-best 49-9.25 (15.17) at the conference meet ... also had an indoor-best of 40-6 (12.34) in the shot put to place 18th in the MPSF.

MOORPARK COLLEGE
McAteer competed for two seasons at Moorpark College in Moorpark, Calif. ... competed in the throwing events and the pole vault ... the Raiders won track & field team championships in 2008 and 2009 and were ranked 10th nationally ... best hammer throw was 175-0, best shot put was 39-11 and best discus throw was 136-7 ... earned his Associate of Arts degree in 2010.

MOORPARK HIGH SCHOOL
McAteer competed in track & field, football and wrestling at Moorpark High School in Moorpark, Calif. ... was a pole vaulter for the Muskateers track & field team ... won three consecutive Marmonte League championships in football (2004-06) ... graduated in 2007.
