Marvin Gonzalez ran the 800, 1,500 and 3,000 meters for the Matadors as a junior ... posted a career-best time of 1:59.80 in the 800 at the Occidental Invitational ... season-bests in the 1,500 (4:09.92) and 3,000 (9:25.76) came at the Northridge Invitational ... did not compete during the indoor season ... ran all five cross country races during the fall season ... finished 64th at the Big West Cross Country Championships in 28:17.6.

Gonzalez qualified for the 1,500 meters at the Big West Championships ... finished 18th in a time of 4:11.23 ... ran a career-best 4:07.77 at the Occidental Invitational (May 8) ... posted a lifetime-best 1:59.92 in the 800 at the Tommie Lister Classic (Apr. 24) ... also eclipsed his previous best in the 3,000 meters running 9:23.76 at the same meet ... did not compete indoors.
