Sean Alfino advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary as a member of the 4x100 relay ... ran the opening leg as the team finished 20th in a time of 42.09 ... reached the final of the 100 meters at the Big West Championships ... placed sixth in a time of 10.88 ... ran a season-best 10.77 to finish fifth in the prelims ... clocked an indoor season-best 6.96 in the 60 meters at the UW Invitational.

Alfino spent two seasons on the track & field team at Moorpark College in Moorpark, Calif. ... was the Western State Conference 100 meter champion ... best time in the 100 meters was 10.74 and best time in the 200 was 21.74 ... the Raiders won the Western State Conference in 2009 ... also ran on the 4x100 relay team ... earned his Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies.
