Cal State Northridge All-Comers Meet Series Opens Saturday, Jan. 5
2013 CSUN All-Comers Meet Information
Cal State Northridge Track & Field has announced the schedule for its 2013 All Comers Meets. The Matadors will host six All Comers meets beginning January 8 and running through March 2.
The six All Comers meets in 2013 will take place on the following dates, weather permitting:
Saturday, Jan. 5
Saturday, Jan. 12
Saturday, Jan. 26
Saturday, Feb. 2 (Throws Pentathlon)
Saturday, Feb. 16 (Jumps Festival)
Saturday, Mar. 2 (Kids Day)
The hammer and weight throw events will only be conducted on the following five dates:
Saturday, Jan. 12
Saturday, Jan. 26
Saturday, Feb. 2
Saturday, Feb. 16
Saturday, Mar. 2
For all meets, running events will begin at 11:15 a.m. On the five Saturday's of the hammer and weight throw, competition will begin at 8:30 a.m at North Campus Stadium.
There will be three divisions contested each week: Open (College, Club and Unattached), Novice (High School, Junior High and Age Group) and Masters (35 years and older).
Admission to view the All Comers meets is $5.00 and gates open at 9:45 a.m. There is also a $5.00 fee to compete with unlimited entries. Parking ($6.00) is accessible in Lot G4 off Zelzah Ave., there is no parking or entrance from Lindley Ave.
