Khalid Jones finished fifth in the 400 meter final at the Big West Championships (May 12) ... ran a personal-best 48.58 in the final after running 48.80 in the prelims ... clocked a season-best 21.65 in the 200 meter prelims at the Cal-Nevada Championships (Apr. 1) ... ran the second leg of the Matadors' 4x400 relay that finished fith at the conference championships in 3:16.59 ... ran a lifetime indoor-best 48.84 at the MPSF Indoor Championships (Feb. 25) to finish 12th ... also posted an indoor-best 22.05 in the 200 meters at the Jacksons Invitational (Jan. 29) as well as running the opening leg of the 4x400 meter relay that ran an indoor season-best 3:25.60 at the same meet.

Jones ran a season-best 48.58 in the 400 meters at the Mt. SAC Relays (Apr. 17) ... clocked a season-best 21.92 in the 200 meters at the Tiny Lister Classic (Apr. 23) ... ran the opening leg of the 4x400 relay team that posted a season-best of 3:18.58 to place seventh at the Big West Championships (May 14) ... did not compete during the indoor season.
