Eddie Garcia ran season-bests of 4:33.13 in the 1,500 meters and a career-best 9:45.86 in the 3,000 meters ... did not compete during the indoor season ... competed in three cross country meets during the fall, finishing a season-best 68th at the Northridge Invitational in a time of 29:02.4.

2010
Garcia competed in the 1,500 and 3,000 meters for the Matadors as a redshirt freshman ... ran a season-best 4:31.82 in the 1,500 meters at Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational at UCLA (Apr. 10) and ran a season-best 10:11.25 in the 3,000 at the Tommie Lister Classic (Apr. 24) ... earned Big West All-Academic honors following the outdoor season ... did not compete during the indoor season.

2009
Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Matadors.
