The 2009-10 season will be Emre Celik's second season as an Assistant Coach for both the men's and women's swim team. CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE 2007-08 Celik was the Matadors' top backstroker in his senior season ... claimed the Matadors' top times in the 100- and 200-backstroke and the 100-fly ... had the sixth-best time in the Big West in the 100 backstroke ... had the fifth-best time in the conference in the 200 back, and his best time in the 100 fly was 13th best in the conference ... finished his career in 2008 as the school-record holder in both backstroke events. 2006-07 Celik rewrote the Northridge record books in 2006-07, logging new all-time record in both backstroke events ... also contributed to two new medley relay records ... notched the matadors' best time in the 200 IM ... also swam the 400 individual medley ... top times: 100 Back: 49.69, 200 Back: 1:46.62, 200 IM: 1:53.02, 400 IM: 4:19.49.
