Cal State Northridge vs. Cal State Fullerton
October 18, 2008
Junior Sunghyun Kim
On his assist on Camilo Rojas' game-winning goal:
"I got a great ball from Matthew Chavez and carried it up the line. From there, I found Camilo and was just trying to get him a good ball as there was little time left on the clock."
On his goal in the 28th minute:
"I was actually transitioning back on defense when the outside midfielder made a mistake. I was just fortunate enough to be there and then find the back of the net."
Sophomore Camilo Rojas:
On the team's effort:
"I feel like the best team on the field won today and we gave it our all throughout the match. We kept fighting and came back and won it with 24 seconds left."
On Fullerton's efforts:
"Every team in the Big West Conference is tough to beat. Every game is a battle and in the end, statistics really don't mean a thing. We know we have to go out there every game prepared to fight for the win."
On tying Moy Gomez for the team lead with four goals:
"As long as we get those three goals every game, it does not really matter who scores them."
Northridge Head Coach Terry Davila
On Camilo Rojas' game-winning goal:
"Camilo is one of our deadliest players in the box and I expect nothing less from his performance on the field."
On Fullerton's performance:
"Every team in the Big West Conference is a tough team. They all have great coaches and they know how to play this game."
