NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -

After scoring three goals and adding his first career assist this weekend, junior Sagi Lev-Ari earned multiple individual honors. In addition to being named the Offensive MVP at the TLC Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Lobo Invitational in New Mexico, Lev-Ari was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week and was chosen as the Big West Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

UPDATE (9/16/13 - 5:40 p.m.): In addition to the honors listed above, Lev-Ari was chosen as the National Offensive Player of the Week by College Sports Madness on Monday evening.

The forward is no stranger to the attention, as this is his second time this season on the National Team of the Week. Lev-Ari also picked up Big West Player of the Week honors for the second time in his career and was also the Disney Soccer/NSCAA National Player of the Week last season.

Lev-Ari paced the Matadors offensively this weekend to help the program to a pair of impressive victories in New Mexico. On Friday, he collected his second multi-goal game of the season by scoring twice against Central Arkansas. Then on Sunday, he netted the game-winning goal and also had an assist as CSUN topped then-No. 9 New Mexico 3-2 for the program's first win over the Lobos in Albuquerque.

The Haifa, Israel, native is off to another impressive start this season and currently leads the Big West Conference with seven goals and 15 points. Through six matches this year, Lev-Ari ranks second in the country in goals scored.

In his brief career at Cal State Northridge, Lev-Ari has recorded 22 goals, one assist and 45 points in just 28 matches.
