NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -
The Cal State Northridge men's soccer program will host its annual summer identification camp on Sunday, June 2, 2013, the coaching staff announced Wednesday. The team, which won the 2012 Big West Conference regular season and tournament titles, is hosting the camp in hopes of reaching out to players interested in taking their game to the next level.
The ID camp is open to all high school and junior college players and will last all day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Matador Soccer Field on the CSUN campus. The camp is run by the Northridge coaching staff and is a great way for players to see what it is like to train at the NCAA Division I level.
Included in the camp are training and film sessions, allowing participants to experience collegiate soccer in a campus environment. Specialized goalkeeper training is also available.
Registration for the ID camp is $165 per person until June 1st. On the day of the camp, those interested can register at a cost of $180 each. In order to register participants must complete the form linked below and mail it to the address listed on the flyer, in addition to filling out an event waiver form which must be completed prior to the camp.
