Nick Delio Named to 2011 PING All-West Region Team

Cal State Northridge senior Nick Delio capped his Matador career by being named to the 2011 PING All-West Region Team as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Delio, the 2011 Big West Conference Player of the Year, concluded his senior season with a school record 71.48 scoring average. His four-year stroke average of 71.91 is also a Cal State Northridge record. He capped his career with an 11th-place finish at the NCAA West Regional on May 19-21.

"I'm really appreciative to the people that voted for me," said Delio. "I also want to thank all the people that have supported me as well as college golf."

Delio was also named PING All-West Regional as well as an honorable mention All-American as a junior in 2010 and is a four-time Big West Conference first team honoree.
