(Apr. 4-5) after carding a season-low total of five under-par 205 (68-69-68) ... low round of the season was a 67 in the opening round of the Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 26-27) where he went on to place fourth at (-7) 209 ... finished tied for 14th at (+8) 224 at the Big West Championship (May 3-4).
Freund competed in a career-high 11 tournaments and 32 rounds during his junior season ... finished fifth among Matador regulars with a 75.9 stroke average after taking 2,430 shots in 32 rounds ... posted a pair of top-20 finishes during the season, finishing a season-best 14th at the Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 27-28) and 19th at the All-American Intercollegiate (Feb. 23-24) ... best 54-hole score was one-under-par 215 at Northridge's Bill Cullum Invitational ... wrapped up the season with a 24th-place finish at the Big West Championship at (+9) 225.
Competed in three Fall tournaments and nine rounds as a sophomore ... compiled 673 shots over nine rounds for a 74.8 season stroke average ... carded a low round of 71 twice at the Shootout at Angel Park (Sept. 29-30) where he finished tied for 32nd at +7, 220 ... finished tied for 30th at the Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 15-16) and tied for 47th at the SCU Invitational.
Competed in six tournaments and 18 rounds for the Matadors ... finished second on the team with a 74.39 stroke average after taking 1,339 shots ... fired a season-low round of 70 at the Food4Less Pacific Invitational (Nov. 6-8) and posted his low 54-hole score (217) at the OGIO Pacific Coast Intercollegiate (Apr. 2-3) ... posted one top 20 finish (18th) at the Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 30-31) ... tied for 31st at the Big West Championship (Apr. 23-24).
