Northridge, Calif. - Bobby Braswell, Cal State Northridge men's basketball coach, will conduct two sessions of basketball camps for youth ages 6-16 (boys and girls) this summer.
The camp dates are slated for June 30 - July 3 (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) and July 21-25 (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) at the Matadome and the Activity Center (adjacent to the Matadome) on the campus of Cal State Northridge.
Participants will learn offensive and defensive skills in a dynamic learning environment. The camp will feature tournament games, team strategies, drills demonstrations, competitions and interactive instruction in all aspects of the game.
In addition, the camps will create a dynamic setting through positive encouragement where each camper will have an opportunity to grow and to develop important like skills in areas including: goal setting, positive attitude, teamwork, respect, self-discipline, work ethic and enthusiasm.
Numerous other campus activities are also planned including a daily catered lunch, pool activities, souvenir basketball, and camp t-shirt.
In addition to Coach Braswell and his coaching staff, local high school coaches, current and former CSUN basketball players and other professional staff coaches will make this a great camp experience.
