Fox Sports Prime Ticket Adds Another CSUN Game To Its Television Schedule
Los Angeles, Ca - The ever-growing popularity and the success of the Cal State Northridge men's basketball team in 2007-08 is giving the Matadors a heavy dose of television exposure.
Only a day after it was announced that ESPNU will nationally televise the Cal State Northridge vs Rider University game on Feb. 23 (6:00 p.m.) at The Matadome, Fox Sports Prime Ticket has announced that the March 8th Big West game vs Cal Poly is being added to their television schedule as a "wild card" broadcast. The game, the regular season home finale at The Matadome, will now slated to tipoff at 5:00 p.m. instead of 7:00 p.m.
Last week, Fox Sports Prime Ticket also selected as a "wild card" game the Matadors league game at UC Irvine on March 1. Game time is set for 8:30 p.m.
The Matadors, co-leaders in the Big West Conference at 8-2 and 16-6 overall, have already been on television twice this year; at Washington (Fox Sports Northwest/Fox Sports Prime Ticket, 12/22/07) and against Long Beach State (Fox Sports Prime Ticket, 1/26/08).
By the end of the regular season, six games will have been televised. That list does not include two games that were televised to a local audience in Spokane (CSUN at Gonzaga, 12/8/07), and in Stockton (CSUN at Pacific, 2/7/08).
Four of the next seven regular season games will be televised. The remaining television schedule is listed below.
